Centennial Christian Preschool is a non-profit program that has been operated by Centennial United Methodist Church for over 45 years. We provide an opportunity for children to develop social skills, readiness skills, large and small motor coordination and a positive self-image. Our 5-day class provides the children with readiness skills to further prepare them for kindergarten. Daily activities include music, art, science, story time, and a children’s free-choice time. Throughout the program, we emphasize Christian values and beliefs and seek to model the love of God.

Having earned a BA in Child Development, Brie Otto has always been passionate about working with children. She enjoys encouraging a child to discover what they can do and giving them the feeling of accomplishment. She strives to make each child feel special and enjoy their time at school.
Brie joined the dedicated team at Centennial Christian Preschool in 2016. Born and raised in Sacramento, and more specifically Hollywood and Land Park. Brie's family has had ties to Centennial since 2010, with a son and daughter attending Centennial Preschool.
In Ms. Brie's words: "I am so fortunate to be part of the close knit community as both a parent and now as a teacher. We work as a team to support every child and their family".
Amanda Zimmerman was born and raised in Land Park. Having attended Centennial Preschool herself, she chose to send her children there as well. She has been a part of the family at Centennial Preschool for many years and feels fortunate to work here, too. She is passionate about working with young children and feels it is rewarding to watch them grow, develop, and create relationships with those around them.
When not at the preschool, she enjoys spending quality time with her family. Ms. Amanda and her husband have four children and two dogs who keep them very busy.
Ms. Annie was born and raised in the Sacramento area and has been a part of the Land Park/Hollywood Park community most of her life. Her grandparents were members of Centennial United Methodist Church for over 20 years and her younger sister attended Centennial Pre-School. She was able to find her passion for working with young children while serving as a swim coach and is an energetic person with a love for learning and inspiring others.
Ms. Annie is currently attending Western Governors University to obtain a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and is excited to be part of such an amazing team and help motivate the love of learning in our students.
Participating family members in the morning classes will participate at the school once every other week.
All families are required to volunteer twelve (12) additional hours per year, per child to help maintain the school. The director has a number of jobs to help you to accomplish these hours.
There are two mandatory meetings that at least one parent is required to attend.
We have several fundraisers per year. As a non-profit we ask that you participate in these fundraisers in order to maintain reasonable tuition rates and updated equipment.
